Our objective is equality: for humans, for the animals, for everyone. The equality starts with you and me, my vegan friend. In the image below you see that the total agricultural spending in the USA is $16B! Well, that was 0.24% of the spending that year. All we ask for is 3%.
3% to feed the people. 3% that will go towards beans, rice, organic soy, towards maintaining fruit trees in public venues, it would be so much money that yes, all of the vegan food could basically be free for everyone.
To get specific: SNAP uses about 1.5% of the budget, subsidies on farms are 0.24%, leaving 1.26% left of the 3% for food. We want to direct that 1.36% directly onto human food crop subsidies--ideally in the form of regenerative infrastructure and free public food logistics (no poor people should not have food that is less safe. I won't name names because I don't have data available)--that will make ingredients like rice, dried beans, and fruits/vegetables, cost pennies and dimes rather than dollars and debt. This will make others foods cheaper too.

We are a group of vegans that believe that the best path to animal safety is regulation. People that think the best way to politic is to share good vegan food.
YOU DON'T NEED TO BE VEGAN TO JOIN US if you agree that we should use 1% of our federal budget so that all vegan food ingridients can be nearly free, from beans, bread, rice, to nuts, baking soda and fruits, then fight with us. I promise: you will like the food that we cook for you.
Wether you think cows should be set free to live in peace, or you think they should be paid for their services with real money, or you just want them walking around again so you can hunt for them yourself... we are the place you.

So many of our battles for animal welfare come down to public policy by the end of things. It's time to directly elect leaders that will protect living creatures. Vegan policy doesn't only help vegans: if plant-based protein sources got the same subsidies as beef, we could make the food close to free--free food helps everyone.
Once there is enough of us in one place, we can open up an office with a kitchen!! And then we can keep paid staff that just make vegan food all day and hand it out to pedestrians.
